How stupid are some people?!

It was mainly about how they use them in the NHS to help out with the spending issues and the staffing shortages etc, and how much they cost.

It turns out that the government had quoted a large amount, (I can't remember how much I am afraid), but it was nothing compared to the real amount. They had some minister on saying that they had probably spent a few hundred million on these cretins where as the governing body said it ran into billions!!!!

So what do these people do for their money???

I think one Primary Care Trust thought that after handing over half a million quid, yes half a million quid, to a management consultancy, to be told that they really should not spend money where it was not necessary!!! And yes, you do need to make cut backs!!! Duh.... do ya think?

There was a guy on this programme that had been working for Customs and Excise for a number of years being a programmer and IT person... and C&E are employing supposed 'Management Consultancies' to do exactly the same job as the poor bloke except they are being paid a vast amount more money to do it. When the interviewer asked:

"But surely it is only a temporary job?"

The bloke replied:

"Supposed to be, but some of them have been here for five or six years"

Is the government having a laugh??

Or am I just in the wrong job??

And then last night the Government failed in their bid to get the Racial and Religious Hatred bill passed. But I hear that Charles Clarke is going to pass it into law anyway... what a load of bollocks.

It seems to me that this bloody country needs to get its priorities straight. It's hemorrahaging money to useless people left, right and centre when that money could be doing something useful. Telling its people that we can't do this and we can't do that for fear of possibly upsetting someone. Luckily Emo's don't fall under this new law.... because they're not a race they are a sub-culture..... so I'll be safe for the short-term. But its places like this that will end up being shut down because we will not be allowed to say what we think.

There is one thing that I despise more than anything else, (including emo's), is voter apathy. It's about time this government was gone... and the only way they are going to get gone, as it were, is if we vote them out. If you don't vote, don't fucking moan!
