The Department for Rural Affairs (DeFRA) are in the headlines today for negligence in it's Pirbright laboratories.

It is estimated that the cost of the Foot and Mouth outbreak in August 2007 is some where in the region of £100 million pounds, if not a few squids more.

Jacqui Smith- the biggest waste of space??

So, Jacqui Smith is our Home Secretary and what exactly has she done in her term of office?

She pissed off the entire police force by denying them a back dated pay rise that they truly deserved and then had the gall to to state in parliament what a brilliant job they do, and how we as a country should support them. What about you supporting them Jacqui? How about you giving some more money to them?

But yesterday I was alerted to one of the biggest wastes in tax-payers money I have heard since I posted about the crisis hit NHS.......

Well, so much to do, so little time!

I haven't been around here for a while- two years is quite a long time for me to go without ranting!

I had completely forgot about this place until I received an email saying that I had comments to check out so I thought I'd pop back and say hello!

Living in this country at the moment is like walking across a wire- dangerous, uncertainty if you will ever get to the other side, but more than that- a little bit exciting!

So we have the so-called Credit Crunch upon us, banks are failing left, right and centre, big bosses are losing their multi-million pound bonuses (shame isn't it?!) and yet consumerism is rife! The government, as usual, don't seem to know what they are doing and all the while I am getting on with 'normal' life without a care in the world. Why is that? Because fortunately, this credit crunch is not affecting me at all. I have saved money by changing supermarkets, I have lost 4 stone in weight (which is amazing and I am currently surfing this wave of content), I am getting hitched next year to the man I love and have loved for 14 years, and my kids are amazing! Sorry this all sounds a little bit gushing- but it's true!

I saved a Chav!!

Sorry I have been away for a while, but I have been busy working, DIYing and generally having a laugh!

I must tell you a story about me saving a Chav, (yes I know it's terrible and disgusting behaviour, but I do have a moral standing in society....occasionally.. and when I can be arsed), getting pissed off with some police officers and generally being quite a nice person : )

Ah..... Radio Four the home of high-brow political arguments etc. Quite good to listen to if you want to find out what's going on behind the scenes in todays society.

I was listening to Radio Four yesterday whilst at work and they had a very interesting article about the governments use of 'Management Consultancies'......

Hello, welcome to Luna.Pixie!

I am Luna Pixie, (its not my real name, and its not really my nickname either... and I am not one of those emo's who change their name either...god I hate those people, but I shall get on to that later!), and this is my bitching website!!**

I must stress that this is just my own personal opinions on stuff... one day could be politics next time it could be about music.. whatever I am getting pre-menstrual about, (that was a joke by the way).
